Testing
Jefferson County Public Health Service hosts a sexually transmitted infection (STI) clinic every Tuesday from 12:30 - 3:30pm. We offer STI assessment, diagnosis and treatment. Our clinical staff can test for syphilis, chlamydia, gonorrhea, HIV, hepatitis C and other infections. All services are confidential. This clinic is by appointment only. Please call 315-786-3730 to schedule an appointment.
STIs don't always cause symptoms or may only cause mild symptoms, so it is possible to have an infection and not know it. This is one reason why STI testing is so important. If you do test positive for an STI, know that all STIs are treatable with medicine.
