Workforce Development Board (WDB)
Established under the provisions of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014, the WDB is a government appointed, local Board that is in charge of providing guidance, impact, motivation and supervision for our local workforce development system. This means integrating an economic and workforce investment system that provides an environment for success for both businesses and workers as we all deal with the ever-increasing changes in technology, markets and high performance workplaces.

The Jefferson-Lewis Workforce Development Board holds quarterly meetings in March, June, September and December. The Executive Board meets at least 4 times per year, but may meet more often as needed. While we have full membership at this moment, we are always looking for businesses that would be willing to sit on the board as openings occur.
